Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing


Let's face it, this time of year is crazy. Between school, activities, work and holiday prep, there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish everything on our to-do list. But don't panic! There are some simple shortcuts that can take your baking from so-so to professional looking with just a little bit more effort. One of my favorite shortcuts is using store bought icing instead of making my own buttercream frosting from scratch every time I want a cake or cupcakes for an event or party. The quick and easy recipe that I've been using lately comes together in about 5 minutes and tastes delicious too! Plus you get bonus points for being almost-professional without all the hassle!
